However, a website's accomplishment still depends on just one thing: how users perceive it. Think of the latest interaction you have had that would make the grade of a 'great user experience'. This could be in the form of exceptional customer service, a product that was unbelievably easy to use, or a website that gave you the exact information you needed, in just the right arrangement, at just the right moment. First impressions still count and visuals make up a lot of that. If your design is suitable without being distracting, then the user will not even become aware of it, or if they do, they will like it.
Readability is about making your writing explicable and easy for targeted readers and it should be one of the top concerns when it comes to any design project. If text can't be read, then why are you designing your website in the first place? First of all you need to make sure that you don't isolate anyone. This means that you should stay away from using too much jargon and steer clear of complex words. If you try to be too clever, your message could get lost in translation. Keep it simple and appeal to a wider viewers. Text is easiest to read when the font text color and the background color are in high contrast. Low contrast irritates the reader and causes eye exhaustion. A more readable website means enhanced usability and an enjoyable reading experience.
