Car and Automotive Miniatures by Kim Leuenberger

In this post we showcased amazing pictures of car and automotive miniatures by Kim Leuenberger. Kim was born in 1992 in the North West of Switzerland in a region called Jura.

She always liked photography and started it at a very young age, however she only owned her own DSLR 2 years ago, for her nineteenth Birthday. It has been love at first sight with a little Nikon D3100.

Almost after 2 years, Kim own a Canon 5D Mark III and learned all about photography by herself, by reading magazines and websites. She is currently living in Harkingen, in the middle of Switzerland. Don't forget to visit her website or 500px profile for more photo inspiration.

Actually there's only three basic points to get blurred background. First is aperture, second focal length of the lens and 3rd the distance between the subject and the background.

While photographing portraits or small things like insects, you'll notice there's always a blurred background to make the subject stand out. It's very easy effect to achieve with any DSLR.
