We have some of the most beautiful evenings here in Southeast Texas. The breeze from the Gulf brings just enough moisture this time of year to create a few high clouds in the late evening. The sun slowly sets and the sky darkens to this beautiful shade of purple.

Shot taken with a Canon EOS 50D tripod-mounted, EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM at 13mm, f/9.5 for 1/2 second at ISO 100 on SanDisk digital film. No post capture processing was done except cropping. These are the true colors I saw that evening. Click on the image above for a larger version.
