Landscape Photography – Summer Nights

Here's an image taken in June during one of the most interesting sunsets I've ever photographed. The sun began to set and as it got within a few degrees of the horizon it turned the sky a beautiful yellow color. As it continued to set the sky changed from a yellow to a pale blue and then to a bright red and purple as the light began to reflect off the thin, high clouds. I took over fifty images that evening and each one is just a little different in framing, color and tone.

I sure do love it when the Lord puts on a show!
